Sarah, Clinical Psychologist Registrar at The Curious Kind Collective

Hi there! I'm Sarah, a Clinical Psychologist Registrar with a keen interest in succulents, sci-fi, and pretending to know the answers in Trivia.

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as you are. You don't need to have the right words, know exactly what's going on, or have everything figured out before you walk through the door. My hope is to create a warm, open and accepting space where we can slow things down, make sense of what's happening, and get curious about what might help.

I love working collaboratively with the people I meet, whether you're navigating a particular challenge, feeling a little stuck, wanting to reconnect with the things that matter to you, or simply noticing that something doesn't quite feel right. I see my role as walking alongside you with compassion and curiosity, helping you understand yourself a little better and develop practical tools that make life feel more manageable.

There's no judgement, no expectation that you have it all together, and no need to be anyone other than yourself.

If you're curious about whether therapy might be helpful, you're very welcome to get in touch and we can chat it through together.

You are welcome here, in whatever way you show up.

Meet Sheree, our friendly face (and inbox) behind the scenes.

Sheree looks after the admin side of the practice, so she's usually the first person you'll hear from! Whether that's booking your first session or helping with any questions you might have. Outside of work, she loves watching the NBA, NRL and cricket, spending time with family, friends and her sassy Dachshund Rizzo.

Therapy informed by

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT is about making room for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while still taking action on what actually matters to you. Rather than trying to "get rid of" anxiety or self-doubt, it's about changing your relationship with them, so they take up less space in life.

Schema Therapy

Schema therapy looks at the patterns we pick up early in life, often in childhood, that still show up in how we think, feel and react as adults. It's about understanding where those patterns came from, and gently working out which ones still serve you and which ones are ready to be updated.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills

DBT skills are practical, teachable tools for managing big emotions, tricky relationships and stressful moments, think of them as a toolkit. We might draw on skills like distress tolerance or emotion regulation depending on what's useful for you.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

CBT looks at how our thoughts, feelings and behaviours all feed into each other, often in patterns we don't even notice we're stuck in. It's a practical, structured way of spotting unhelpful thinking traps and building more workable ways of responding.

Internal Family Systems

IFS works from the idea that we all have different "parts" inside us, like an anxious part, a protective part, or an inner critic, each trying to help in its own way. It's about getting curious about these parts with compassion, rather than trying to fight them off.
