We accept Medicare, NDIS and private health cover. Here's how it all works.
Session fees

Medicare provides a rebate of $101.55 on up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year (1 January – 31 December) under a Mental Health Treatment Plan. Your GP will usually refer you for an initial 6 sessions, then review your progress before referring you for the remaining 4. Any unused sessions left on a referral at the end of the year carry over, but still count toward the new year's 10-session limit. Once you've used all 10 sessions for the year, further sessions are full-fee until the count resets on 1 January. Please note, if you have crossed your Medicare Safety Net threshold for this calendar year, you may be eligible for higher rebates, check with Medicare to confirm.
Medicare
With a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on eligible individual sessions. Ask your GP for a referral, and bring your plan to your first session. Current rebate amounts are set by Medicare. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call.
NDIS
We welcome NDIS participants with self-managed funding. Self-managed funding means you can see us regardless of provider registration, and you'll pay upfront and claim the cost back through your NDIS plan.
Private health
Many private health funds offer rebates on psychology sessions under extras cover. Rebate amounts vary by fund and policy. We recommend checking directly with your provider before your first session.
Cancellation policy
Life happens, and we understand that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule! To help us keep session costs manageable and make appointment times available to other clients, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice of any cancellation or reschedule.
- Cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a fee of 50% of the session fee.
- Cancellations, reschedules or no-shows with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full session fee.
- Cancellation fees are not eligible for a Medicare, NDIS or private health rebate, and are payable in full regardless of how your sessions are usually funded.
- If you're unable to attend in person, a telehealth session is often available as an alternative rather than cancelling altogether.
